Why I Chose Zeta: I chose Zeta because it was where I felt that I was going to truly experience sisterhood. I knew that while all of the organizations would allow me to do great things for the community, Zeta was the only org that I felt I belonged. As I continue to grow and experience new things, I find that I am always using the tools instilled upon me by Zeta. For that and the lifetime friendships I’ve acquired, I am forever grateful! I <3 Z-Phi-B =)!

Why I Chose Zeta: I chose Zeta due to lovely women on campus that exhibited the principles of finer womanhood, sisterly love, scholarship and community service on a daily basis. The principles of Zeta stood for what I believed in and I viewed Zeta Phi Beta as a great organization for me to become a part of and to build lifelong relationships with others while helping others have “better tomorrows”. Zeta Phi Beta definitely makes an impact in the community and I am blessed to be a member of such an illustrious organization.

Career: High School Principal
Date Initiated: Spring 2003
Activities at TCNJ: Black Student Union, Student Finance Board, Ambassadors, Track and Field Team, Homecoming Queen 2003
Why I Chose Zeta: When I was looking at different organizations in college I researched each sorority on campus. As I continued through my college career, I consistently interacted with woman who were leaders on campus, doing well academically, or working as college administrators. Unbeknownst to me at the time, most of these great women were Zetas! Not only were they professional and hard-working, they knew how to laugh and have fun! They were truly well-rounded! I then began my journey into "Zetadom" and have remained actively involved ever since.

Why I Chose Zeta: I chose Zeta because the women it created before me were exceptional. They were everything I strived to be and more. Honestly, no other sorority could ever satisfy my soul. That's why I am happy to have been changed by Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated.

Why I Chose Zeta: WHY NOT? Seriously, I chose Zeta (and Zeta chose me) because I created a relationship with a group of women who were genunine and kind. To this day we still have a strong friendship (a sisterhood). Also, my life's experiences paralleled with what Zeta stood for (especially Scholarship and Community Service) and most importantly I appreciated the Sisterhood. I liked being connected to an organization that was doing great things on campus and in the community. Zetas were the only ones doing something on campus and the only ones practicing what their principles (both in public and private). I love Zeta and I wouldn't change being a part of this sisterhood for anything!

Why I Chose Zeta: Many laugh, but after seeing the movie Drumline, I knew I wanted to be in a sorority. I wanted to wear a jacket and step in slow motion at a party. When I got to college I realized the importance of choosing a sorority that was right for me and for reasons more than a jacket and stepping. I wanted to be a part of an organization whose members reached out to me as much as I reached out to them, whose members were genuinely interested in my well being and adjustment into college, whose members were down to earth and made TCNJ my home away from home. I chose Zeta because Zeta was all that and more for me. It was one of the best decisions of my life and I am forever grateful to be a part of this most illustrious organization.

Why I Chose Zeta: I will always remember the flier that read “dare to be different, dare to be a lady of Zeta Phi Beta.” From that moment, I was intrigued and hooked to the idea of becoming a finer woman. I spent a few weeks researching, and connecting to the women on the yard. The more I researched and met women of Zeta, the more I fell in love with the organization and knew that I wanted to be a part. For me I loved how involved Zeta was on campus and how the women on the yard carried themselves. Furthermore the national philanthropy March of Dimes was something very close to my heart. As a nursing major at the time, my long term goal was to work with babies. I also loved the projects that Zeta participated in throughout the world, especially the water well initiative in Ghana, West Africa – my place of birth.

Why I Chose Zeta: I researched the organization and fell in love with the fact that it was founded during a time where the country was changing for the better. It was a period that, to me, marked a new day. When I got to know the ladies of OE, it was the same experience. I had experienced other organizations, but Zeta was a change for the better with regards to my perspective of greek life.

Why I Chose Zeta: I was born into quite the Blue & White family, and I was a member of Zeta's various youth auxiliaries. I always knew that I wanted to be a member of a greek-lettered organization. Once at college, I took the time to explore my options and research various organizations, but Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated still stood out far above the rest. I wanted to surround myself with like-minded individuals who embodied similar principles. I could write for days about the women of this organization and all it has offered me. Zeta women are genuine, loving, compassionate, hard-working, intelligent, amiable, confident, and dynamic. Zeta women do amazing things not only professionally, but also in their personal lives, and of course for the love of Zeta. This organization has taught me the importance of an education, of giving back to my community & beyond, of sisterhood, having high principles and standards, and so much more. Through my work with my sorority, I have not only increased my knowledge and skills in Zeta, I have also learned so much about myself and my potential. I can only hope that one day I am able to give back half of what this sorority has given to me.

Why I Chose Zeta: I chose Zeta because it is a group of like minded women who empower each other and inspire change in our communities. I started off just doing community service with the ladies when I was a freshman, but then it was something about them that drew me in. I now know that “something” was their principles. It was the Sisterly Love that was so openly displayed, the Community Service that I loved participating in, the Scholarship that they emphasized and the Finer Womanhood that each woman truly embodied.
